Mirror

Staring at the mirror
Everyday I end in tears
Nothing here to comfort me
And nothing will appear

And when I come home
I stare at my own reflection
In the mirror
Hating how it just looks back
At me

I want to change it
Make it someone else
Then shatter it into a million shards
To slice my skin and draw my blood

I can't bear to see it
Yet I can't bear to leave
So I stare at the pitiful face
And again I just end in tears
